Jeffrey C. Bogert began practicing law in 1987 and he has primarily represented plaintiffs in personal injury litigation. Since 2005, he has focused on Mass Torts litigation, handling cases against Proctor and Gamble, Merck, Dupuy, Johnson & Johnson, Novartis and Sanofis including participating in bellwether trials in two different MDL litigations. He has tried thirty-one cases to jury verdict in state and federal court.
Jeff is licensed to practice law in California Courts and has been admitted to practice in Federal Court (through MDL admission or pro hac vice) in Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Tennessee, Texas, Washington, and the District of Columbia.
He has presented on a variety of subjects at legal conferences, such as The Western Trial Lawyers Association and the American Association for Justice.
Jeff received his A.B. in political science from Occidental College in Los Angeles and his J.D. from the University of the Pacific / McGeorge School of Law in Sacramento.
Outside of Court he recently worked on Law and Order True Crime (The Menendez Murders) as the legal Consultant. He is a long time Board Member of the Jim Murray Memorial Foundation located in los Angeles which focuses on promoting collegiate sports journalism nationally.
He and his wife, Tamara (an Assistant to the Dean of The University of Southern California’s Gould School of Law), live in Santa Monica with their Italian Mastiff, Charlie.
